CBD is non-psychoactive so it will not give you that hazy feeling like the THC in marijuana. It’s just a happy homeostatic hum. Why is this? THC is the only cannabinoid that produces the “high” sensation. There are several other cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, for example CBD, that do not get you high.

MYTH #2 ALL CBD IS CREATED EQUAL

False! The FDA doesn’t recognize CBD so the market is largely unregulated. Meaning, companies can claim high quality but not be. PRO TIP: look for companies with third-party lab testing results.

MYTH #3 CBD WON’T SHOW UP ON A DRUG TEST

Well, partially debunked. Anyone interested in CBD should be aware that a small amount of THC (.3% or less) could show up. Keyword: could. To completely avoid the chance, purchase CBD isolate and stay away from full-spectrum CBD.

MYTH #4 CBD IS ADDICTIVE

Negative. Several studies have shown that CBD is not addictive. The World Health Organization has reported that CBD exhibited similar results to placebo substances in potential for abuse tests.

SOURCE:

https://www.who.int/medicines/access/controlled-substances/5.2_CBD.pdf

https://medium.com/cbd-origin/hemp-vs-marijuana-the-difference-explained-a837c51aa8f7

Any blog content is based on our research and opinions and does not claim professional accuracy.
